Moustafa has extensive expertise with engineering, education and enforcement techniques to develop and implement road safety programs and projects. Moustafa is a Road Safety Engineer with over 18 years of experience.
His asset road safety experience includes working as road assessment, planning and for other various clients as road safety monitoring, traffic accident investigation, training and campaigns in road safety. He provides necessary expertise for all types of traffic accidents, collision analysis and reconstruction. Also, he worked on many projects of road planning and traffic design, temporary traffic management and parking design. Moustafa is proficient in investigating roads and road designs to identify risk and propose remedial road safety improvements. And as well as undertaking numerous speed zone reviews, he has developed innovative signs and markings and written guidelines for speed zoning, school zones and pedestrian zones.
He is experienced in independently prepare reports, lead, and carry out Management of the Crash Analysis System on a wide variety of crash types and statistics analysis, with over 7 years of experience including the duties and responsibilities Support MOTC, NTSO and PWA to achieve the client’s mission and strategic objectives in state of Qatar.
• Support the NTSO in implementing the objectives of the National Traffic Safety Action Plan of 2018-2022.
• Support Ashghal to deliver the 2018-2022 action plan.
• Management of the Crash Analysis System QCAS (iMAAP).
• Maintain the security of crash records in accordance with Qatar Law no 13 of 2016, “Promulgating the Protection of the Privacy of Personal Data”.
• Coordination with stakeholders such as the traffic police MOI, HMC, ambulance service, trauma centre and Contractors to obtain and verify crash records.
• Preparation of RFP for improving Road Safety Systems, Road Safety Assessments and Road Safety Audits.
• Undertake the process of crash data analysis to identify crash hot spots for the use in engineering measures and programs of work.
• Preparation of definitions and statements covering the crash data system.
• Perpetration of the blackspot management program.
• Member of the NTSO Crash Site Investigation team.
