This is a bicycle path along the road. Because there is no pedestrian facility, pedestrians also use this path.
Should this be coded as a “Off-road path” or as a “Shared used path”?
In the upload file specification the “off-road path” stands higher on the list then the “shared used path”.
I am asking because the risk factor for the “off-road path” is 0,1 and the risk factor for the “shared used path” is 1. This is a bit odd, because for the vehicle running off and hitting a bicyclist it doesn’t matter if the path is also used by pedestrians.
ps. In this example “pedestrian facility” is also coded as present.
