With a 4-leg intersection do both directions on the main (surveyed) road need to have turn lanes in order to code ‘4-leg with protected turn lane’? For example if there is a turn lane provided for only one direction/one leg do we still code turn lane or do we use the worst case scenario rule?

As per road safety aspects, we should provide turn lanes on both approaches of main carriageway.And if one turning lane is missing then we should code it as 4 leg intersection with unprotected turn lane.
