iRAP for unpaved roads

Is it feasible to use iRAP for existing unpaved roads?

I understand that attributes such as signage and possibly the condition of the road are coded “poor” by default, but the idea is to compare a before and after, the “after” condition would be once the road is paved.

If this is feasible, are there any recommendations that I should keep in mind?

Hi Fran.
It is possible to use iRAP for existing unpaved roads. You can measure the effect of the after-situation being paved by changes in the skid resistance attribute.

I hope it helps.

Yes, it is possible and its is easier to compare the situation after improvement
