Pedestrian Observed Flow Driver Side - Divided Road. Code Median?

For the question: “Pedestrian Observed Flow Driver Side” – if the road is divided, where are the pedestrians typically counted? On the median? Or on the complete other side of the road?

Divided roads are surveyed in both directions so when recording observed pedestrian flow along the road (Carriageway A) on the drivers side you would be looking at the median. The pedestrians on the far side would be recorded when the road is surveyed in the reverse direction (Carriageway B) as being on the passenger side.
