Unable to delete a dataset/project/region/programme

Why can’t I delete this dataset/project/region/programme?

  • Only the managers of items (and ViDA admins) can delete them, and only if the item does not contain sub-items. E.g. you cannot delete a project that contains datasets. You would have to manually delete the datasets first.
  • The person who created the item will be the initial manager.
  • Only the manager (and ViDA admins) can assign somebody else to be the owner.
